{Jaesie & Brett}

These two met in high school and have been together ever since.
I'm so glad they'll be tying the knot in a few weeks; their day is sure to be filled with sentimental details galore!
We got really lucky with their friend Mitchel, who has a retro red truck and even made friends with some mosquito's:)
Bonus: Jaesie is a florist, so her flowers had her signature touch; so beautiful!
Such a fine pair!

{Ellsworth Family}

I wish we could have had a few more hours with the Ellsworth family. I have been friends with Austin since high school and haven't see her for about 4 years so it was so fun to catch up! Her kids are so fun and adventurous; and Miles is a really great Dad and hubby too!

{Sweaters}

Look what a free night will lead you to do...its getting cold out.

{TerriAnn & Tom}

I really like this couple. A lot. They are really fun and down to earth- speaking of down to earth: Tom wrecked on his motor bike a few days after this, so we're awaiting his speady recovery before their Bridals- They really are so awesome, and although it was pretty cold at this session, we still managed to have a lot of fun looking for treasures, laughing, and even riding bikes!

{Lucky}

I can't believe it's already Oct. 20th on Monday. That means I've made it through almost another month of many events. I've been shooting all of my weddings wearing little black flats that result in aching feet by the time I'm driving home for the night. I've been eyeing these black shoes (Dansko is the brand), but never really said to much about them.

Today I went home to have Brade place them in my hands while I had my eyes closed for his "surprise". I think I'll be the only photographer at the SLC temple today that is grinning bigger than the brides... well almost as big. Thanks Brade for being intuitive and spoiling me rotten!

{Knecht Family}

This family of 6 was so much fun to be with. I love that litle boys have so much energy and are ready for fun at any moment too. Amber & Peter are awesome parents; I hope I can be as energetic and playful as they are when my kids come around. I'd be ok with it too if they are as cute as these 4 Knecht boys!

{Heaston Family}

We got up to the canyon just in time to see the fall colors before the cold weather set in! This family is so cute! As you can see, the little guy loved to eat anything that fell into his hands! We saw all sorts of fun things up the canyon, and had a great time throwing leaves around- thanks for the fun night together!

{Brie & Mike}

Let's just say, we had to jump a fence at one point to get some of these shots, and it may not have been totally legal, but it was totally worth it! This couple seems brilliant to me. Brie is an RN, Mike is an Economics major, and they are so much fun to be around. I can't wait to see their wedding plans unfold- every detail sounds amazing. Awesome couple!

{A storm is coming in}

There are worlds of experience beyond the world of the aggressive man, beyond history, and beyond science. The moods and qualities of nature and the revelations of great art are equally difficult to define; we can grasp them only in the depths of our perceptive spirit. ~ Ansel Adams

This was such an amazing site. It was inspiring to just sit there and soak in the beauty of this unbelievable place. The whole time that we were here all we could say was "wow". While at mesa arch at about five in the morning we were light painting with some other photographers from Canada. We were the only three there and got to talking about the park. They asked me if I had been to this location and I said "no, but that was where we wanted to go next. They said "lets go see it", so we met up later that day and hiked in. It was a really neat experience to go here because it is actually an archeological find. It is not talked about at the park and not easily marked or found. Since my husband and I have had no sleep the hiking was a little hard but well worth it. Thank you to Darwin and Nick for going on this trek with us.
