This was a beautiful day! Ben & Raquel worked so hard putting every detail together for their wedding and reception and everything turned out just awesome! They are so in love with each other and it showed all day long. The families of each were so fun and had some serious dancing skills too. Thanks for sharing you're day with me!

{San Diego- Day 2}
Another fun-filled day in San Diego. We went to Oceanside Pier and had some good times with the surfers, ate some ice-cream, and saw a shark. Yes, it was about 12 inches long, but still a shark. Jaws is out there. We ate at a totally awesome Mexican restaurant right across from Swami's beach- great food and the perfect location! The fun continues tomorrow...

{San Diego- Day 1}
Don't worry, edits are being processed from 10pm-2am... but we are down to San Diego to visit Braydon's family. We've had a great time! It's been a really long while since we took a vacation, and it's nice to have some extra time to catch up on all the edits too. There will be many posts coming with past sessions- so stay tuned and meanwhile, enjoy the sunny pictures as we enjoy ourselves with the Platt family!

{Campbell Family}
This was such a fun family session! I grew up with Kara all through school, so it was really fun to see her little family and spend some time with them! Miss Mckenzie is adorable and her first word ever was actually "pretty". I loved hearing her say that word with each flower we saw. She can also blow bubbles, just with her little mouth. I was amazed! Great family, and great company for a very fun summer night!

{Ali & Brian}
It's amazing how small this world is at times- Ali's Mom and Braydon's Mom were best friends back in the days of Georgia (where Braydon grew up.) We had such a great time getting to know Ali and Brian at their bridal session. Brian just returned from Spain, where he bought the pearls that Ali is wearing, and Ali is just about to take off for Greece a few weeks before they get married! They are both smart and good looking, what a great pair! They seem so happy together and we can't wait for their wedding in a few weeks!

{Christian & Melissa}
I had a really fun time with this couple- we went all over town and tried out some fun locations too! They love sunsets, but since we got held up with the ice-cream sundae boy, we didn't get to experiment with one. So for their Bridals, we're bound to get some fun sunset stuff! I can't wait-

{Independence Day}
This was a great week leading up the 4th of July. I've been reminded of, and learned some important things. Sunday, we went to the Marriott center on BYU campus, to hear Glenn Beck speak. Little did I know it would be so inspiring. I left a better person and more motivated to be so much more. He emphasized, "We the people, make the difference, it is up to us. Hope is about who we really are, not who we've allowed ourselves to become." "People are dying everyday, to have a small piece of what we enjoy every single day...What a Country!" "Don't take for granted our Life, Fortune, and our Sacred Honor." Remember who we are."
On the 4th, I ran in the Freedom Run 5k. I actually was emotional as I started out the race, thinking of how many of us come together to celebrate our independence. I'm so proud to be part of something so incredible. So special. It's something I'm passionate about. Something I love. The fireworks topped it off, along with spending some fun time with family and friends. Of course that is what it's about, being together as family and friends, celebrating the country that we all live in and love.
I'm proud to be an American.
